ABOUT ABOUT

Are there changes on the horizon for 2012?

What factors do you need to consider for Estate Planning after the Tax Relief Act of 2010? What is the Appropriate Estate Plan?  What techniques still work? Should existing Estate Plans be amended? Since the $5,120,000 Exclusion expires in 2012 - should your clients make gifts before year end?  What’s the Future of the Estate Tax?

Join us on May 17th for the answers to all your questions on Estate Planning and Tax from our special guest speaker, Mr. Edward Perkins, Gibson & Perkins, PC.

Mr. Perkins has been practicing as a transactional attorney for over twenty-five years. Mr. Perkins is a principal shareholder in the firm and also a member of the faculty of the Graduate Tax Program of the Villanova Law School. In that program he currently teaches "The Drafting Fundamentals of Estate Planning Documents" – a course that he developed for the program and which is now required for all those seeking the Program’s Certificate in Estate Planning. In the past, he has taught "Comparative Taxation of Business Entities", "Federal Estate and Gift Tax", "Estate Planning", "Tax Research", "Taxation of Individual Taxpayers", "Taxation of Corporations and Partnerships", "Advanced Tax Accounting", and "State and Local Taxation."
