Jon absolutely “wowed” America with his mind-blowing and inspirational performances on NBC’s hit television show, America’s Got Talent. Jon made it to the finals and placed third overall against tens of thousands of competitors. Recently, he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where he so absolutely amazed Ellen, she has invited him back for multiple visits in the coming months.

When Jon Dorenbos is on stage, he uses his unbelievable magic to emphasize the importance of choice and openly shares his childhood tragedy. He was just 12 years old when his picture-perfect family was destroyed after his father murdered his mother. Jon chose to rise through adversity, set goals, and plan and execute the necessary steps to accomplish these goals. Jon started learning magic at the age of 12 and is now considered a “master magician,” earning the respect of top magicians everywhere.

Jon also excelled at football. After playing in college at the University of Texas El Paso, Jon was signed as a long snapper by the Buffalo Bills in 2003 as an undrafted free agent. He was considered a long-shot to make the team, but he overcame the odds and his first two years in the NFL were as a starter for the Bills. In 2004 he led the league in tackles at his position.  In 2005-2006, he started for the Tennessee Titans. In 2006, Jon joined the Philadelphia Eagles where he is celebrating his 14th season in the NFL. The average tenure in the NFL is less than three years.

This year the Eagles nominated Jon for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award for philanthropy and his many charitable endeavors.
